Linh Phung is a multi-media stop-motion animation artist and an independent filmmaker living in New Jersey and based in New York Metro area. She enjoys creating tactile worlds using felt, paper, and handmade puppets. Her work often explores themes of tenderness, labor, and social cooperation. Her animation has screened at the Ridgewood Off-Kilter Film Festival, Women in Animation NYC Film Festival, and Silver Lake Shorts. She has also facilitated stop-motion animation lessons at the Children’s Creativity Museum in San Francisco and taught visual arts and filmmaking to middle and high school students in NYC.
